Shawn Patrick says…
“People don’t leave bad jobs – they leave bad leaders.”
There’s something unique about the drive to be part of an elite group. The best of the best. As a Marine, being willing to put your body and mind through extreme conditions to have the chance to call yourself one of the team. It’s because of the people. Those with the same drive to be the best and work the hardest. When you surround yourself with those people, you find ultimate satisfaction in a job well done.
Construction is hard work, and your team can make or break your job experience. We only hire people of the highest caliber that fit our culture and will strengthen our team. We aren’t perfect, but we work hard and are always striving to be our best. We provide a safe place to learn and grow, developing leadership and life skills at every level in our company.
What it’s like working here…
We take note of those on our team with leadership qualities and help them grow through mentorship and leadership training opportunities. A team is only as good as its leader, and we take the time to intentionally place people in the right roles, setting them and our company up for success.
At every level of the Marine Corp, a leader is in charge of no more than 3-4 people. This allows an intimate knowledge of the strengths and opportunities for each subordinate, as well as the ability to mentor according to the unique personality of each person. That’s the approach we take at The Raider Company. We invest in people.
